The Payroll 8.0 Patch is a Zip (.zip) file. You may need to decode the file after it has been downloaded to your hard drive.
To run the Patch once it's downloaded to your hard drive, double-click on the 8_0_7_patch icon. A readme appears. Click Continue. The Patch will search your drive for your old version of Payroll 8.0. Once it is found, click Update. To verify that you have correctly updated, open Payroll as you normally would and note the title bar of the Command Center. The version should be 8.0.7.

You can either run the patch from the website or download it to a location on your hard drive.
If you choose to run the patch from the website, please make sure your Payroll program is not open. If you choose to download the patch, please save it to a location other than your Payroll folder, such as your desktop.
Once you have completed downloading the patch, double-click the file 8_0_7_patch.exe and follow the on-screen instructions.
Once you have run the patch, open your payroll as you normally would, then verify that you are using the most current version by choosing About CheckMark Payroll from the Help menu. The version should be 8.0.7.
