The Payroll 7.8 Patch is a MacBinary (.bin) file. You may need to decode the file after it has been downloaded to your hard drive. We recommend using StuffIt Expander.
To run the Patch once it's downloaded to your hard drive, double-click on the 7_8_5_patch icon. A readme appears. Click Continue. The Patch will search your drive for your old version of Payroll 7.8. Once it is found, click Update. To verify that you have correctly updated, open Payroll as you normally would and note the title bar of the Command Center. The version should be 7.8.5.
Please note: You need at least version 7.8 of Payroll 2007/2008 for Macintosh (7.8.x) in order to run this patch.

NOTE: This patch is for the PREVIOUS YEAR'S version of CheckMark Payroll (7.7 for 2006/2007). If you are using the current version of CheckMark Payroll for 2007/2008, download and install the latest patch at the top of this page.
