The Payroll 7.9 Patch is a Zip (.zip) file. You may need to decode the file after it has been downloaded to your hard drive.
To run the Patch once it's downloaded to your hard drive, double-click on the 7_9_6_patch icon. A readme appears. Click Continue. The Patch will search your drive for your old version of Payroll 7.9. Once it is found, click Update. To verify that you have correctly updated, open Payroll as you normally would and note the title bar of the Command Center. The version should be 7.9.6.
Please note: You need at least version 7.9 of Payroll 2008/2009 for Macintosh (7.9.x) in order to run this patch.
