For the most part, old data can be converted without having to re-enter information. - I currently use QuickBooks® accounting software. Can I move my QB data into MultiLedger?
- Unfortunately, QuickBooks uses a proprietary format for their import/export functions, while MultiLedger uses the standard, tab-delimited text file format. It may be possible to export basic information, such as Vendors and Customers, out of QB as a text file. Then, open the text file in another software package, such as a spreadsheet program, re-save as a tab-delimited text file, and import into MultiLedger.

- I have check stock from another software package. Can I use the same checks in MultiLedger?
- MultiLedger's flexibility for check formats allows it to work with many different types of checks and printers. You can manually format the check position in the software and that works for most types of checks. One check format MultiLedger does not support, for example, is three-checks-per-page, with side stub.

- MultiLedger is an integrated accounting package that combines General Ledger, Inventory, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Jobs. You can, however, only use the functions that apply to your business. For example, if you just want to keep track of your receivables, you can use the Invoices and Customer Payments functions in MultiLedger.
